Common Usage

An anticorrosive epoxy coating with excellent resistance to water and seawater. Primarily used as part of an antifoul system on the hulls of marine vessels serving as a tie coat between the primer and the anti-foul coating. Series 191 HullClad TC gives extended recoat windows for overcoating with approved antifoul coatings.

Curing time varies with surface temperature, air movement, humidity, and film thickness. Multiple coats may be required, please contact your Tnemec Representative for film thickness recommendations.


Series N69, 72, 132, 191, 194, 195, 690, 1070, 1094. Note: The following maximum recoat times apply: Series 72, 21 days; Series 690, 1070, 1094, one month; Series N69, nine months.
