The client opted not to have the entire tank abrasive blasted. Instead, the crew focused on blasting only the roof and bottom ring. They thoroughly washed the entire shell with Tnemec cleaner before priming and topcoating it. This was the first external tank of this size for most of the crew, and they impressively completed the work over 33 days without any incidents.
