After 39 years, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, needed a bigger, better water tank to support its growing community. Now recognized as the 2026 Tank of the Year People’s Choice winner, this 1.5-million-gallon water tower features an updated design capturing the Detroit Lakes skyline at sunset. Protected by Tnemec’s Series 91-H₂O Hydro-Zinc MCU, Series 21 Epoxoline, Series 700 HydroFlon, Series 1095 Endura-Shield, and Series N140 Pota-Pox Plus, the tank is built to protect its finish and serve the community for generations to come.
