It’s hard not to feel relaxed when you gaze at Destin’s water tank. With a wrap-around motif depicting the warm, sandy beaches of Florida’s Emerald Coast, the elevated water tank’s mural was artfully painted in 2017 using high-performance Tnemec coatings to help with extended color and gloss retention. When the local utility company wanted to repaint their legged tank, they contacted long-time experts, SUEZ Water Advanced Solutions/Utility Service Group, for the best solution. With the help of Eric Henn, award-winning mural artist, the tank received an overcoat using Tnemec’s fluoropolymer finish, Series 700 HydroFlon. The resulting project is the newest addition to a long-standing tradition of memorable water tanks throughout the state of Florida.
