Common Usage
An advanced technology finish coat combining low VOC with exceptional performance. Offers superior color and gloss retention for long-term aesthetics on exterior applications to steel, concrete, and other substrates in commercial, industrial, and marine environments. The durable film stands up to abrasion and exterior weathering. Direct-to-metal capability allows for a labor-saving, high-build, single-coat application.

Recommended DFT
Topcoat Service: 3.0 to 7.0 mils (75 to 180 microns) per coat.
Direct-to-Metal; over Zinc or MIO-Zinc: 5.0 to 7.0 mils (130 to 180 microns).
Note: Number of coats and thickness requirements will vary with substrate, application method and exposure. For DTM or applications over zinc or MIO-zinc, consult the latest version of Tnemec Technical Bulletin 13-100 or contact your Tnemec representative.

Curing time varies with surface temperature, air movement, humidity, and film thickness. Reference APPLICATION for ambient humidity ranges. Note: When recoating Series 690 with itself, the minimum recoat time is 16-24 hours at 70°F (21°C).
