Generic Type
Inorganic Hybrid Water-Based Epoxy
Common Usage
An advanced generation, low odor, low VOC, water-based epoxy coating featuring HydroLink curing technology for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. Used as a primer or intermediate coat on structural steel, infrastructure, institutional, and architectural applications. Offers superior wetting for marginally prepared steel and tightly adhered existing coatings. This coating is ideally suited for steel fabrication and OEM applications, with fast-curing and rapid-handling properties. Excellent resistance to yellowing and chalking when exposed to UV and an extended recoat window make it a versatile choice. Its high-performance formulation offers excellent adhesion and provides exceptional protection up to 400°F (204°C). Formula protected under U.S. patent. Note: This product is a direct replacement for Series 27WB Typoxy.
Special Qualifications
Series 27WB was tested in accordance with, and passed, the California Department of Public Health CDPH/EHLB/Standard Method Version 1.1, 2010 emissions testing and meets qualifications of LEED v4, Collaborative for High Performance Schools, and Living Building Challenge.
