Norm brings more than 22 years of industry experience, including 7 years as an abrasives distributor where he gained critical knowledge of the role proper surface preparation plays in achieving maximum adhesion of protective coatings. With special expertise in the petroleum industry, Norm applies his extensive knowledge of oil sands, storage tanks, vessels and structural steel to problem solving technical issues that arise throughout a project’s life cycle. As a solution provider, Norm is ready with technical advice to support proper use of every product he recommends. Raised in Edmonton, Norm is a member of NACE International and The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and keeps up-to-date on all the new technology and issues affecting his industry. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking.
