With 21 years of experience in the protective coatings industry, David brings a depth of technical knowledge to his agency that has earned him the trust and respect of architects, engineers, contractors and owners. In addition to being a NACE Certified Coating Inspector, he belongs to both the Society of Protective Coatings (SSPC) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA).

David serves on many AWWA Coating Standards committees and strives to ensure that these industry standards reflect the current technologies and capabilities of the industry.

Prior to starting Avid Protective Products Ltd., David was an architect and engineering representative with the StonCor Group, and he also worked with Madison Chemicals Industries, Inc. in business development of pipeline coatings. He holds an honors bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
