Wally Bates joined Del Val Coating Consultants in 2009 and became the Principal Consultant in 2015. Del Val in 2020 became Atlantic Coating Consultants merging with Mid-Atlantic Coatings. The Pennsylvania native has an extensive background in construction which allows him to be a valuable resource for architects and engineers in all aspects of a project, from design through completion. He is NACE 1 Certified and focuses on all major markets for Atlantic Coating Consultants. He is an active member of the Philadelphia CSI Chapter and enjoys presenting AIA and NCEES presentations to design firms. Bates graduated from Slippery Rock University with a BS in Business Administration. He lives in Collegeville, Pa., and enjoys camping, traveling and spending time with his family.
