Generic Type

Methylmethacrylate Acrylic

Common Usage

Phylon 1422 is a non-yellowing, acrylic coating that highlights the natural color of masonry by providing a clear, semi-gloss sheen. The treatment does not alter the natural texture of the surface, nor significantly affect the vapor transmission qualities of the substrate. Phylon 1422 provides a durable, wet-look finish to exposed aggregate, ground-face block, sandblasted concrete and many other vertical concrete, masonry and natural stone surfaces. Repels water when used on dense substrates.

Colors

Clear. Dries to a clear, glossy finish. Treated surfaces will appear darker once product has cured.

Curing Time

Series 620 is fully cured for light traffic bearing within 72 hours at 75°F (24°C). Application at temperatures lower than 40°F (4°C) may reduce coverage rates and inhibit curing.
