Inside Sales Manager- Western Region

Description: This position strategically identifies prospects and customers who represent sales opportunities through the use of project lead services, CRM, and other marketing tools. Develops campaigns and tactics with the goal of increasing specification base and product sales through the company’s independent sales network. Dynamic work environment and supportive corporate culture includes frequent interaction with Sales and Marketing personnel as well as outside sales representatives. This position serves as the primary point-of-contact for Tnemec sales agencies in the western region.

Reports to: Vice President- Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) SalesForce database for assigned agencies through collection of records from inquiries, tradeshow leads, customer order data, presentations, and direct responses to marketing campaigns.
  • Support agency sales activities with presentations, prospect and customer lists, direct and email campaigns, specifications, product certifications, product performance comparisons, and sales leads.
  • Provide agency office staff and representatives with project lead service support including troubleshooting, development of search filters and queries, and specific project research.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing on development of strategy for targeting competitive specification base and promotion of Tnemec products.
  • Develop campaigns targeting firms that do not currently specify Tnemec through the use of direct mail, email, and coordination of sales calls with appropriate sales representatives.
  • Develop and implement new digital marketing and sales tools, when appropriate, to drive prospect and customer engagement. May include Building Information Modeling (BIM), marketing automation platforms (Pardot), and building material registries (AVITRU, ARCAT, SpecLink).
  • Develop and supply documents necessary for targeted activities including specifications, coating schedules, submittals, cover letters, and construction details.
  • Requirements:
    • Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
    • Work well within teams and individually
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Limited travel within North America
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred but not required
    • Familiarity with construction process, customer relationship management (CRM) tools,
      marketing automation platforms, or marketing/inside sales experience a plus
